There haven’t been any particuarly noteworthy developments in the HTPC world lately, and I’ve been very busy at work so ther haven’t been as many articles published. What follows is a brief round-up of updates that I haven’t yet had time to write about.
- MCE-الأصدقاء 2 final got released. Since 2.1.2 it supports remuxing without recoding and offers various features that MC-TVConverter doesn’t.
- النار الثعلب 10 got released. 11 is due in 2 weeks time.
- Hack7MC published a nice article about a replacement for المركز الإعلامي ستوديو called Media Center Themer and how to port MCS themes over to it.
- VLC 2 got released with full BluRay support.
