0Automate DVD Ripping on Windows 7

With my recent HTPC pro­ject now work­ing really well, I want to rip my col­lec­tion of دي في دي to my media serv­er for more con­veni­ent play­back in Win­dows 7 وسائل الاعلام س. ثالثا (and all the addi­tion­al bene­fits asso­ci­ated with Media Browser, par­tic­u­larly the meta data on rat­ings, syn­op­sis, إلخ). Rip­ping دي في دي, whilst straight­for­ward is rather tedi­ous. I found an excel­lent meth­od of auto­mat­ing the pro­cess was to modi­fy my auto­play set­tings with Auto­Play Repair, and point the auto­play to a pro­gram called دي في دي Rip which auto­mates the rip­ping of دي في دي with the well known دي في دي Shrink.

Now I just put the دي في دي in the drive and chose “Rip with دي في دي Shrink” in the auto­play options. I could choose this as the default oper­a­tion to make the entire pro­ced­ure 0‑click, but I may not want to rip every دي في دي I put into the PC!

تحديث: I’m now exper­i­ment­ing with a com­mand­line tool that works with Any­DVD as it appears to be simpler.
