2Firefox 4 fixes MSN Messenger bug
I was so pleased upon upgrading to Firefox 4 to no longer have Windows Live Messenger crashing the browser every time I opened Hotmail and had an active conversation window. I don’t know if it was Microsoft or Firefox at fault but the problem seems to have gone away now.

Just a quick post, it seems that Microsoft have finally made a reasonable web browser, or at least the folks at Tom’s Hardware seem to think so. I’m still looking forward to Firefox 4, and hoping Mozilla will deliver a 64bit version as promised, but a bit of competition from the (still) dominant player in the browser market can’t be a bad thing.
0MPC-HC 1.5.1
It’s been a little while since I checked, and since then the MPC-HC developers have released 3 new final releases. The current release is 1.5.1.2903. As usual there is an x86 player, x64 player, x86 standalone filters and x64 standalone filters.
0Disk Speeds
Since a post about a year ago where I compared the speed of several flash drives (for Speeding up Media Browser) I’ve been keeping a track of the speed of various drives / devices. As I’ll soon be obtaining quite a few new drives it seemed a good time to organise all the benchmarks and start a post with the data I’ve collected.
