A few more tips to improve NoScript, as the author sadly does­n’t quite con­fig­ure it for optim­al secur­ity, or brows­ing-friend­li­ness by default.

1. If you haven’t already then see the [int­link id=“16” type=“post”]المادة السابقة[/intlink]

2. Turn off the annoy­ing mes­sages at the bot­tom: Right click on the NoScript icon, select options, select the noti­fic­a­tions tab, and untick “Show mes­sage about blocked scripts”.

3. Clear the whitel­ist which includes some sites you might not want to approve, for example the google advert­ising serv­er: Right click on the NoScript icon, select options, select the whitel­ist tab, and delete all the entries you don’t want.

4. By default every time NoScript is updated the next time Fire­fox is loaded it dis­plays the NoScript release notes page. To pre­vent this right click on the NoScript icon, select options, select the noti­fic­a­tion tab, and untick “Dis­play the release notes on updates”.
