A quick note of warning about applying Thermal Grease / Heatsink Compound to وحدة المعالجة المركزية'ق. Don’t use loads! Not only will it not work very effectively, if you really go overboard it can leak over the sides of the cpu and get underneath as it has in the image. هذا وحدة المعالجة المركزية (A pentium 4) was given to me as “I think its broken”.
When I flipped it over I wasn’t surprised — there is so much arctic silver compound on it that it got below the cpu and shorted out several pins (mostly top left, some top right and bottom centre). The owner in question was very lucky — after a thorough clean the “broken” وحدة المعالجة المركزية came fully back to life
